Roadsafe Mobile Tires & Auto

Markham · Richmond Hill · Scarborough · North York

The shop that comes to your driveway.

Flat tire at 2am on the 407. Winter rubber still stacked in the garage. A car that cranks but won't catch. Roadsafe is a fully equipped mobile service unit — compressor, balancer, torque wrench, jump pack, scan tool — that rolls to you and does the job where the car is parked. No tow. No waiting room. No shuttle.

Everything we do, and what it actually involves

Tap any line to open it. One at a time — the rest stay folded so you can scan the list the way you'd scan a shop's whiteboard.

01 Mobile tire change & seasonal swap

The core of the business. We arrive with a cordless impact, a torque wrench calibrated to your vehicle's spec, a portable balancer and a nitrogen-capable compressor. Wheels come off, tires get mounted and balanced on site, everything gets torqued in a star pattern and re-checked at the end.

Spring and fall are our busiest weeks — the first cold snap in October and the first warm weekend in April. Book the swap a few days ahead if you can; if you can't, call anyway, we keep two units free for same-day calls.

  • Mount, balance and torque on your driveway, office lot or street parking
  • Your wheels or ours — we stock common sizes for Corolla, Civic, RAV4, CR-V, Elantra, Escape
  • TPMS sensors reset and verified before we leave
  • Old tires hauled away for recycling at no extra charge

02 Flat repair & roadside tire rescue

Nail in the shoulder, screw in the centre tread, sidewall tear from a curb you didn't see. If the puncture is inside the repairable zone we plug-and-patch it properly from the inside — not a push-in string that fails in a month. If it isn't repairable, we mount your spare or bring a replacement.

We work the shoulders of the 407, the 404, Highway 7, Warden, Woodbine and Kennedy. If you're somewhere genuinely unsafe, get behind the barrier first and call — we'll talk you through it while we're en route.

  • Interior patch repair, not a temporary plug
  • Spare mounting and pressure set if the tire is done
  • Replacement tires brought to you in common sizes
  • Night and weekend calls answered by a person, not a queue

03 Brakes — pads, rotors, fluid

Grinding, a pulsing pedal, a car that pulls left when you brake. We measure pad thickness and rotor runout in front of you, show you the numbers, and only replace what's actually worn. Pads and rotors on both axles, calipers cleaned and greased, slide pins serviced, fluid topped or bled.

Most brake jobs we do in a driveway take two to three hours. We bring jack stands, a floor jack and a torque wrench — you don't need to own a single tool.

  • Ceramic or semi-metallic pads, your choice of brand tier
  • Rotors machined or replaced depending on thickness
  • Caliper service and slide-pin lubrication included
  • Brake fluid level check and top-up on every job

04 Batteries, boost & charging systems

A dead battery in a Markham January is the single most common call we get. We test the battery under load, test the alternator output and check for a parasitic draw before we sell you anything — because a new battery doesn't fix a bad alternator, and we'd rather tell you that in your driveway than have you find out in a parking garage.

If the battery is genuinely done, we carry common group sizes (24F, 35, 47/H5, 48/H6, 65) and install on the spot, terminals cleaned and protected.

  • Load test, alternator test and parasitic draw check
  • Boost to get you moving, with an honest read on whether it'll hold
  • Replacement batteries installed and old core taken away
  • Terminal cleaning and anti-corrosion treatment

05 No-start & check-engine diagnosis

Cranks but won't fire. Clicks and nothing. Starts cold, dies warm. We pull codes with a bidirectional scan tool, then actually test the circuit rather than replacing the sensor the code names — which is how most no-start bills get to four figures for no reason.

You get a written summary of what we found, what we tested, and what we'd do next, whether or not you have us do the repair.

  • Full code read plus live data on fuel trim, crank and cam signals
  • Starter, alternator and ground-strap testing
  • Fuel pressure and spark verification where applicable
  • Written findings you can take to any shop

06 Pre-purchase inspection

Buying used in the GTA is a minefield — a car that looks clean at a Markham plaza can have a rebuilt title and a leaking rear main. We meet you at the seller's address, put it on stands, and go through it properly: undercarriage rust, frame rails, brake and tire life, fluid condition, suspension play, scan for stored and pending codes, and a check of the VIN against the listing.

You get a photo set and a plain-language verdict — walk away, negotiate, or buy with confidence — usually within two hours of the appointment.

  • Undercarriage, frame and rust assessment with photos
  • Brake, tire and suspension measurement
  • Stored, pending and permanent code scan
  • VIN check against the seller's listing
07 Fleet & small-business accounts

We look after a handful of local fleets — courier vans, landscaping trucks, contractor pickups, a couple of driving-school cars. Scheduled seasonal tire rotation across the whole lot in one visit, on your yard, before your drivers start. One invoice, one point of contact, no vehicles leaving the property.

If you run five or more vehicles in Markham, Richmond Hill or Scarborough, call and ask for the fleet rate. We'll come out and walk the lot with you first.

  • On-site seasonal swaps for the whole fleet in one visit
  • Per-vehicle service records kept on file
  • Priority scheduling for roadside breakdowns
  • Monthly consolidated invoicing

How a call goes

Three steps, no paperwork theatre

  1. 1

    You call

Tell us the vehicle, the year, and where it's sitting. A photo of the tire or the dashboard warning helps but isn't required. We quote a range on the phone — not a "we'll see when we get there."

  2. 2

    We roll out

You get a text when the unit leaves and an ETA. Typical arrival inside Markham is 30 to 60 minutes; longer at rush hour on the 404 or in a snow event, and we'll tell you that honestly before you commit.

  3. 3

    Job done, driveway clean

Work happens in front of you. Old parts shown, torque checked twice, area swept. Card, tap or e-transfer on the spot — no deposit, no call-out fee buried in the fine print.

  • North York — Don Mills, Bayview Village, York Mills
  • Stouffville & Pickering — by arrangement, call ahead

Highway calls on the 404, 407, 401 and 407 ETR are routine. If you're stopped in a live lane, stay belted and call 911 first — then call us.
